What you’ll be doing…

The Robotics Business Technology group is expanding its team and we are looking for a highly motivated personality as Senior Software Developer Robotics to join our robotics engineering team at incubed IT, a Verizon Company. You’ll be working in an exciting startup environment within the foundation of a large company. You will have the freedom and autonomy to do your best work, with the support and camaraderie you need to enjoy your job. In this role you will be contributing to the future of our robotics autonomy stack. As a Senior Software Developer for our robotics autonomy stack.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within incubed ITs autonomous mobile robot technology engineering team.
  • Design, develop, and implement product offerings that enable robots to understand their surrounding and autonomously perform tasks on their won.
  • Participate in a collaborative Agile team environment and build features that not only meet customer requirements, but help incubed IT encourage best practices in an incredibly innovative industry.
  • Work with different robotics platforms.
  • Development of the software stack for autonomous, intelligent, and cooperative transport robots.
  • Implementation of requirements as a member of an agile team, in cooperation with our customers.

In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

You’ll be working in an exciting startup environment (incubed IT) within the foundation of a large company (Verizon). In this role, you will lead our hardware and integration partners, but not limited to, through onboarding, adoption, advocacy, expansion.

As a Partner Relationship Manager for our partner success team, you will work collaboratively within your team and in close coordination with the support and product teams to enhance partner satisfaction and partner growth. Being the first point of contact allows you to support our partners in every phase of their business to solve conflicts before they might escalate. You will participate in a collaborative, agile team environment that is determined to improve our partners’ experience.

  • Act as the first point of contact for new and existing partners working with the incubed IT platform.
  • Maintain and strengthen the relationship with partners.
  • Create an action plan for integration (Timeline, Requirements, etc.), defining and tracking milestones, and proactively taking measures to support the plan.
  • Create an Account plan with the partner, setting goals and actively pursuing them.
  • Promote incubed IT’s products (current and future) within the partner organization in order to extend aftersales possibilities.
  • Define end user Use Cases with the partner in order to extend business opportunities.
  • Provide technical and project support.
  • Define Marketing strategies with the partner to further promote the partnership and create additional business opportunities.
  • Consistently exceed revenue and company goals.
  • Manage renewals and forecasts accurately.
  • Identify expansion and multiyear contract opportunities, develop customer outreach strategies and convert those opportunities within the customer success team.
  • Share prior knowledge and experience with other members of the partner team.

  • Maintain willingness to pitch-in and help others on the team.

As a technical expert for technically demanding products, you can play a key role in shaping the relationship with our customers and the solution to be used. Your tasks.

  • Leading a team who is the first technical point of contact for sales and after sales team
  • Support planning customer projects from a technical perspective including network configuration, deployment, processes and interfaces to existing systems

In this role, you will be contributing to a high customer satisfaction by keeping their robot fleet up and running as well as by supporting our developers in resolving reoccurring issues.

As a Second Level Support Engineer for our service team, you will work collaboratively within your team and in close coordination with the engineering team to analyze and resolve incidents at customer sites all over the world as well as to support our Partner Relationship Managers in keeping an overview on important issues and customer satisfaction on our projects. You will participate in a collaborative, agile team environment that is determined to improve our customer’s support experience.

You will be…

  • Supporting exciting and versatile projects all over the world using various robot platform compositions and configurations.
  • Analyzing and resolving incidents at customer installations.
  • Assisting customers to properly configure their systems.
  • Coordinating independently with developers to resolve difficult incidents.
  • Responding to service desk tickets and phone calls.
  • Remotely liaising with customer sites.
  • Supporting developers by collecting, analyzing, and preparing log material that makes it easy to reproduce and resolve bugs.
  • Supporting Customer Relationship Managers to keep an overview of project issues and customer satisfaction.
  • Improving customer processes and experience.

What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:

  • HTL or Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in customer support.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux, console, and network technologies, specifically with tools and technologies to connect to customer sites (e.g., SSH, Citrix, VPN, mRemote) tools for transferring files (e.g., WinScp, scp) and for analyzing log files (e.g., vim, nano, grep).
  • Knowledge of databases and related tools such as SQL (PostgreSQL) and Metabase, and monitoring tools such as Elastic Search
  • Fluency in English and German (written and verbal).
  • Willingness to travel.
  • A valid driver’s license.
